Sip, Savor, Share: Catering & Coffee to Impress

At Ruby Collective, we value experiences and love — everything you'll taste and feel when you book your catering or cart experience with us.

What We Offer

  • Catering

We’re leaning all the way in on serving more than “just” catering food. For us the real joy is in making your taste buds dance like you do when no-one is watching (c’mon, we know you do).

Whether it's an intimate gathering, a big bash, or you’re simply in charge of arranging food for that workplace meeting, we craft menus that are as unforgettable as that special first glance across a crowded room.

From playful bites to elegant spreads, think hyper-fresh, local ingredients, bold flavours and a dash of creativity. It’s all designed to keep your guests talking for longer than you & your girlfriends when comparing notes about the night before.

Let us handle the food, while you handle the charm. It’s a way better match than whatever you’re thinking about swiping right on.

  • Cart Experiences

Looking for a little pick-me-up that’s as irresistible as you on a good hair day?

Our vans bring all the rizz (as all the cool kids say), serving up way more charm than the last dude that tried to chat you up in a bar.

Our carts are chameleons; From our OG’s serving velvety lattes and bold espressos, locally made gelato, or our brand new offerings of serviced charcuterie or pavlova carts we’ll be a little of whoever you need us to be!

We’re equipped to handle weddings, parties, corporate events, school carnivals and everything in between with style, buzz and a side of charm.

Let us custom create you something special.

  • Grab & Go Meals

Life is busier than you’d like it to be. You have to get everyone to their after school activities (all at the same time) and everyone has homework and doesn’t someone play the clarinet plus you have to feed the chickens you got in COVID and your parents are getting older and are cooking less and when was the last time you dropped in a meal for that friend who had that baby or whose having that treatment and the DIY meal service bags just go soggy in the fridge and shouldn’t someone eat a carrot and that date night you so badly need? HAHAHAHA.

We specialise in solving exactly that…. from one full-time working mamma to another. We’re here for you.

P.S. Can’t relate? No worries - our meals are perfect for you too! We serve the FIFO and emergency service communities, those wanting something special just for them and everything in between.

  • NDIS/HCP Meals

We are a fully registered NDIS & HCP meal provider, meaning you can use your plan funds to feed yourself or the people you’re helping to care for. We take care of the 70/30 invoicing, home delivery and can provide meals fresh or frozen so all you need to do is order once a week, then relax and enjoy.

We believe nutritionally balanced, healthy food isn’t a privilege. It’s a fundamental human right. We are working hard every day to ensure that no matter your age and ability you can eat food that makes you feel excited…. and go on, grad dessert too! You absolutely deserve it.

We’re an all-woman-force-of-nature-team serving up passion and a whole lot of heart in everything we do.

  • Meet Sarah: From Macca's to Mastering Hospitality

Sarah's hospitality journey began at 13, flipping burgers at Macca’s, and the passion never stopped. After high school, she took her skills overseas, working in hospitality across Greece and London before returning to Perth to pursue a degree in Psychology. Her heart never left the industry, so in 2018, she returned to her roots and became the proud owner of Our Ruby Girl in Como.

Known for its innovative employment programs, Our Ruby Girl has provided work experience and jobs for over 100 people with disabilities, alongside its popular coffee vans, gelato carts, and catering services. With a team of 18, Sarah has built a unique space in Perth’s vibrant hospitality scene.

Outside of work, Sarah is a proud mum to two daughters, Georgia and Zara and proud supporter of two adult gifts Oriana and Sienna. Motherhood has been her greatest achievement—and her toughest challenge. Balancing life as a single parent with her entrepreneurial journey, she pours resilience, love, and passion into everything she does.

  • Meet Jayde: A True Hospitality Heart

Jayde’s journey in hospitality began at just 13 years old, when $5 an hour cash-in-hand felt like a small fortune. But it wasn’t just the money that caught her attention—it was the thrill of creating experiences for others, the energy of the bustling environment, and the joy of making people smile. That spark, fuelled by a love for food and service, set the foundation for what would become a lifelong passion.

By 23, Jayde took a bold step and opened her own restaurant, Syd & Phyllis, pouring her heart and soul into every dish, every detail, and every guest interaction. After 7 years of hard work, countless late nights, and creating a beloved space for the community, she made the difficult decision to sell the restaurant and embark on a new chapter in her journey. But the hospitality itch? It never left her—it’s in her blood.

When she’s not busy making magic happen in the world of food and service, Jayde enjoys her time with her wife, Cat, and their zoo at home—two dogs, two cats, and a whole lot of love. Together, they’re living proof that when you follow your passion, life can be a little bit wild, a lot of fun, and full of love.

  • Meet Beth: The Culinary Queen

Beth’s love for cooking began at 15, helping her mum with Friday night meals at the local bowls club. What started as a simple way to spend time together quickly turned into a deep passion for food. From there, she embarked on her apprenticeship in the kitchen, and her dedication and talent propelled her through the ranks, eventually becoming head chef at a popular local restaurant. Her culinary journey took her through a variety of kitchens, where she refined her skills and explored diverse cuisines, from the timeless elegance of Italian classics to the rustic craft of wood-fired cooking.

Driven by a commitment to sustainability, Beth became fascinated with the art of charcuterie, pickling, and preserving, all while embracing a no-waste philosophy. This focus on sustainability became a cornerstone of her cooking, where every ingredient is cherished, and every dish tells a story of thoughtful preparation.

Beyond the kitchen, Beth is supported by her loving wife, daughter, and a pack of animals, all of whom add a little extra flavour to her life.
